Abstract City
This is a personal project I did in Houdini. I kept everything procedural. The city is generated through different procedural maps stacked together. The color is assigned to the higher elements of the city. One of the biggest challenges was also to generate the city traffic. This was done with VEX. Basically, I ended up with a system where I was grouping points (creating point leaders) on the fly based on stopping signals.
Software used: Houdini, Cinema 4D, Redshift, After Effects.
